I purchased 2 of these before and was happy with the quality, so I purchased them again for an income property.
Instant Fix
Fit over my existing vent easily - 4 screws. Looks fine - no more noticeable than the white vent itself was. Be sure to remove the old bird's nest ( with long sleeves, gloves & head cover) before attaching the vent guard! We didn't - and had an invasion of hungry bird mites in our house from the ceiling fixtures. No kidding - it was a nightmare. Would have all been prevented with this simple guard.
