Right Part, and Easy to Replace
My Maytag Bravos HE Top Load washer ingested a nickel, which hung up in the OEM drain pump. I drained the tub, removed, cleaned out and replaced that pump, and it lasted for another 2+ weeks. I ordered this one, repeated the process, and all is now good. The price was the best I found, local or on the web. If you tend to have a lot of laundry, like I do, you may want to expedite your order, as the delivery of my part took a little longer than I expected (my high expectations, not the sellers' fault). This can be a DIY job, even though you lay the washed on its' front to get to the pump. Have a wet/dry vac handy, to suck all the water out of the tub BEFORE you lay the washer down. When my washer quit working, my first thought was of either expensive repairs or buying a new washer, which I didn't want to do! After a little research we found this part, and after checking with repair companies and parts suppliers we found this part, which was more than twice what we paid for it here on Amazon! We found it here and were completely impressed with the price. Received it in a couple of days, my husband switched them out, and walla, we have a working washer again! Great deal, good part, nice quality!
