Chopstick cheating.
I saw this product on 9GAG it looked cool. Ordered some got them in timely well packaged situation.
When using as chopsticks they work well but the tips do not align but it's not a big problem , other than this I would give 5 stars.
I love it when a product is what the picture leads you to expect it to be.
The owners of the sushi bar I used it in were fascinated by it , yet considered it cheating.
Not sure what I was expecting.
I saw the video for knife-fork-chopsticks and was intrigued. I mean, who wouldn't be? tying together the most definitive aspects of eastern and western cuisine? Count me in! Anywho, as an avid and proficient chopstick user sharing a household with 2 <ugh> fork users </ugh> I saw this as an opportunity to expand all of our consciousnesses.
Alas, it was not to be.
The old adage of "you get what you pay for" has never held more true. While the device in the video was sold out everywhere and $10, these were available and approximately $2 a pair. I ordered 3. And waited. They ship from China, so obviously there is some lag time. No biggie.
When I received them I was less-than-impressed with the packaging, (who cares, it's going in the trash anyways) and upon removing them from the package I was surprised to note that the colored "grip" areas are simply painted on, the fork and knife are bulky on the sharp end and too...
Very Convenient
I got this for work lunches. I am always looking for chopsticks for times I have noodles. It's easy to clean and store.
