A great $20 waffle maker
I read a lot of reviews, and the higher-end models all seemed to have issues (parts break off, don't heat up right etc), so I decided to take a chance on this one.
So far, it makes great waffles. Don't notice much difference in the clam shell vs. the flip types.
Nice vertical storage feature.
simple to use.
Only minus, is that the waffles are not super deep like more professional models, but that doesn't bother me much--they are deep enough.
Would recommend the light and crispy recipe in the directions.

well this being my first waffle maker I've ever bought or used, I must say this thing works great. it heats up fast, waffles turn out great, and its easy to clean. it doesn't take up much room when storing it. this was well worth the money & plan on buying another one for our motorhome.
oster simple waffle maker
This waffle maker is perfectly designed, as are all oster products. It is amazing that it is very economical. I can't imagine needing anything more complicated; all waffles come out perfect!
